In 1972, I was part of a crack commando unit that was sent to prison by a
military court for a crime we didn't commit. We promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade into the Los Angeles underground and survived as soldiers of fortune. From 1983 to 1987, even though we were still wanted by the government, when people were in trouble, and no one else could help, and they could find us, they hired us.

We dealt with some lowlifes and were often involved in gun battles. I've been punched in the face (no pun intended) and captured by civilian bad guys. There are a few times bullets whizzed by my head and I thought I would end up dying. Fortunately, through our ingenuity and a plan that would always come together, I was never seriously hurt.
