When I was 7 and living in a childrens home. I was swimming in a pool we had on our 'campus' and a 15 year old boy
pushed me under the water and held me down with his feet. Luckily an adult from the other side of the pool saw and ran over and stopped him. He played it off like he was just joking, but it was one of the scariest moments of my life.
Another time in that pool I was trying to see how close I could get to the deep in and slipped on the slope that goes into the deep in and went under. Luckily my sister was near by and jumped in and saved me.
I'm still surprised either of those incidents didn't scare me from water.
