Because if they don't have a job they don't have nothing.
That's the big problem with the extra unemployment benefits we had/have and the stimulus checks everyone got last year regardless of employment status. It can literally pay more to sit at home and throw out an application occasionally to keep the benefits going.

Depends on the job. But if you go out in public you can see that there are employee shortages with your own eyes. Both
