neighborhood games, turkey bowls, etc.
I love football and I do watch a lot of it and do a study on my own, but I am baffled at the #fire Tuiaki crowd. I have yelled at the TV this past season during games (which I do at both the Offense and Defense), is the D great, no. But it is good.
Tuiaki has been the D coordinator during one of the greatest football stretches in BYU history. 21-3 the past two years. Has been the D coordinator during a 6-1 win over P5 teams (first-time BYU history). He has made adjustments more than once which has led to the defense playing better in the 2nd half than during the first.
His players like to play for him and Kalani trusts him.
So my question is, Why? Is it because he does not hold opposing offenses to low enough offensive outputs. Does the defense not create enough turnovers? I get his defense is not flashy, but it is getting the job done.
I really am asking this for an honest assessment that justifies all of the #fireTuiaki crowd which comes out in force each game whether BYU wins or loses.
Feel free to respond how you may, but I am looking for solid reasons on why we should fire this guy.
