TCU won 4 games last year. This year they are 3-0, but none of those teams are
all that great. They beat SMU 56-0, but SMU has scored 12 points on the year and allowed 202 points. TCU did beat Minnesota (who has beaten Michigan, Eastern Illinois, Middle Tennessee, and SJSU), so there's that. Maybe TCU will be better this year, but that's still up in the air. We'll find out how good they are this weekend against Oklahoma.
But yes, BYU would have struggled these last several years in the PAC 12.
