This is where our opinions differ.
The high-profile LDS kids that BYU is losing, they are losing two big teams like Notre Dame, USC, UCLA because those kids want to play at a place that will set them up good for the NFL and get them plenty of big-name exposure. BYU within a P5 conference still is unable to compete with those schools, IMO, much the same way that Utah still loses on the non-LDS high-profile kids that want to go to those big-name schools.
