I'll admit that her biggest hits are not great songs
they are typical pop songs and you are right many people could have written them. They are not what make her great.
I'm talking about her full collection of music. She has four albums and I don't think there is a weak song on any of them.
If you don't believe she writes her own music then I can see why you would discount her talent but I believe she does.
