Here is mine--yet another China story. TL;DR version: Don't take domestic Chinese flights.
Flying from Shanghai to an interior city. 45 minute flight on a Boeing 747.
about 30 seconds into the flight we realize that turbulence, crazy wind, and evidently a drunk, cross-eyed pilot on his first flight will be our constant companion.
You know that roller coaster feeling you get going down that first major hill? Imagine 45 minutes of that over and over and over again. And again. It was so bad that the flight attendents unfolded those seats in the back, buckled in, and started crying. I KID YOU NOT the flight attendants were crying!
Swore I would never fly again.
I flew another Chinese flight a few months later.
