But I've been watching Liga MX for a while now and have yet to see any of those "other" Mexicans playing for Chivas.

Comparing Mexico to a melting pot in the US sense is laughable. It's nowhere even near comparable. As for the Amerindians, are you kidding me? The way Mexico treats them makes the US look like a paradise.
