I lived in Mexico for three years. A third of the kids in my kids' school were
Jewish. Mexican Jews, more accurately. At work, I had a Mexican of Chinese descent and two Mexicans of Japanese descent working for me. My wife's OBGYN was a Mexican who had immigrated from India; her kids were culturally as Mexican as any other, but they looked like little kids in Mumbai. Amerindian Mexicans are everywhere in rural Mexico, especially smaller towns in the south and central parts of the country, or in the big market next to the Zocalo in downtown Mexico City. As for Mexicans of European descent, there are tons of them everywhere. Just look at the Mexican national soccer team (or Chivas, for that matter), you'll see plenty of them. Or walk around my company's offices in Mexico City, and look at them, or ask people where their grandparents were from.
