I’m assuming that company A, like most companies, would fire the employee if

they found out about the other employment. So essentially the employee is collecting paychecks from a company while secretly doing something that would be cause for termination. That seems unethical.

Of course if company A knows about the other employment, then that changes the whole scenario.
