Vast majority of games are in the US. Mexico has at least three viable locations
to host, and has hosted two World Cups in the past.
Mexico City, Monterrey, and Guadalajara are all modern cities with good infrastructure.
As for the criticism of Canada, don't get what you're complaining about. For hosting an event, it doesn't matter how much money Canada spends or not spends on growing the game domestically.

Mexico has hosted a WOrld Cup on its own, so don't be worried about them. And Canada has stadiums too.
