The one in Guadalajara is ready. The Azteca will actually need some minor renovations to be ready, but not much and it will certainly be ready. I guess my point was that there are really only three WC stadium options for Mexico, and after that there is a steep, and I do mean steep, drop off. No other stadium in that country is anywhere near ready, and that includes, with the exception of the Azteca, literally every stadium that was used in the '86 World Cup. They were able to host the event 32 years ago. It would cost them a fortune to hold it by themselves now.
