There will be 10 host cities in the US and 3 each in Mexico and Canada
It was smart. It's a huge tournament with a ton of games.
Would you have rather had a competing Mexico bid splitting the North American vote.
America is not in a good spot right now to win a global popularity contest, and bringing Mexico and Canada into the fold while keeping the bulk of the games here was well done by US Soccer.

Mexico has hosted a WOrld Cup on its own, so don't be worried about them. And Canada has stadiums too.
