I’m talking about this age group, not every age group in the history of the state. If there is another group this age that has done as much then I’m certainly open to hearing about them.
And yes Bingham gets a lot of kids that go there from out of boundaries. Kids that live in copper hills, Kearns, west lake, Hunter, Riverton, West Jordan, and other boundaries. This isn’t exactly unknown. And no I don’t think they go out and recruit, they don’t need to because the kids do it on their own.
And yes I know of several kids at Bingham right now that played for all of those other youth programs growing up. I don’t have a problem with it, we have open enrollment in this state and kids can go wherever they want to go, but I’m not going to pretend they all grew up in south Jordan because we all know that is not true. Simply look at their roster and see how many 250#+ kids they have in comparison to everyone else.
