What's weird about this, is that in the original article, they seemed OK with it
I mean - Beau kept it under wraps through the summer. Which I assume was because he may have hoped to possibly move back to QB in the fall.
But according the their interviews in the paper, Beau said he just wanted to help the team. Merrill said something about just wanting to see his son on the field playing and happy. One of them said something about Beau always wanting to play RB when he was growing up, in HS, etc., but he was one of the more athletic kids so they kept him at QB.
Just seems weird - unless something recently happened - that they seemed OK with all of this not too long ago. But now he's bent out of shape? Weird.

The only reservation I've had is moving a QB with concussion history to RB position. I was surprised.
