That would be weird, if true.
I'm not saying it isn't true - I'm saying i have no idea.
But wouldn't it be weird to say "Hey - spring practice just ended. We want you to switch to RB through summer - but then come fall camp we'll switch you right back and have you with the QB's again."
What's the point of switching for the summer? There are no official practices, players aren't working with coaches, aren't necessarily learning plays, and are just doing their own workouts. So switching for summer and then going back for fall camp seems both weird and dumb. If that's what he was actually told.

The only reservation I've had is moving a QB with concussion history to RB position. I was surprised.
