Since you won't answer my question. Here's some data for you.
Our last quality road P5 win was ASU in 1997

Since 1972, BYU is 4-25 on the road vs. all 7 win or greater P5 teams (this includes Notre Dame and other major independents).

Against ALL quality (7 win or greater teams) P5s during that same span we are 21-58-1 a .269 win pct.

On average 2/3 of P5 teams finish the year with 7 or more wins.

It's not like we dominate G5s either. We are 3-17 on the road vs. G5 teams that have won 9 games or more over the last 20 years. Beating Fresno last year would have been an outstanding win for our program, but you would rather lose to Texas instead? Mmmmm, OK.

BYU should be playing 2-3 P5s. That's plenty. Scheduling 6-7 only leads to an additional 2-4 losses a year.
