If overall record and nationally ranked are most important to you than we had
Much better success doing that in the MWC. Have only finished with 10+ wins once in independence (our 1st year).
Our SOS has also been WEAKER in independence average than it was in the MW. (68 vs 64.5)
We are playing similarly tough schedules but we are winning less and are less relevant.
Current MWC would likely be weaker now. But once you lose 1-2 games now there really isn't anything to play for. Whether you win 11 games with a great season or 6 games, you end up in the same bowl. No more drama, just a bunch of exhibition-feeling games.
