BYU not having access to the NY6 or good bowl ties is a fact.
BYU ends up in the same bowl whether they win 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, games--fact.
Wins, National rankings, SOS are facts — this was in direct response to criteria you said was important to you. I agree that past performance is no guarantee of what the future would hold.

Some of my opinions shared are based on these things. That's great you have a different opinion, but you don't need devolve the conversation and get so angry. Could be our opinions are a lot closer than you think.

Lots here just make conclusions without looking at anything objective. For example if someone says "MWC sucks, and our SOS would suck!" and then you point out that SOS has been weaker in independence or that we played 6 MWC teams last year, some start to understand deeper reasons for the preference beyond lazy arguments.

I'm not trying to rock the boat, I don't understand why you are getting so worked up here. I'm not even a strong MW advocate, I just think independence has its flaws.
