Good points. Football-only or partial membership must have been in play.
It sure was discussed on this board as an option.
How else does the Big12 get around Sunday play? I guarantee you they will not give it up. Those minor sports absolutely count on it and unless the TV Broadcasting dynamic changes significantly, they'll never agree to skip it.
Also, recall that Bronco also said at the time (2011) that Sunday play was a problem for the Big12 in accepting BYU.
