We all know BYU doesn’t discuss specifics in their business dealings so if BYU passed on the Big12 there is likely a good reason that you won’t hear about. Maybe it was a requirement to make a fundamental change in the Honor Code or something along those lines that BYU would never do. We likely wil never know for sure.
