What I don’t get is hs coaches “planning for the future” is odd
You plan for the future by helping your jv sophomore and freshman teams.
Too many high school coaches think their job is equivalent to college coaching... news flash, it isn’t. Most hs athletes don’t go on to play in college, so that is usually their last experience with a team sport- and unfortunately coaches ruin it.
