Haha, no you're not. Timing of breaks, variance in pace throughout the day, etc.
You're approaching it like a math problem, but it's not one. No human perfectly maintains an exact pace while hiking over the course of an entire day. The fact that her average pace happened to be nearly identical is irrelevant.
