I gave bad/incomplete information. he told me originally about it on Monday

And reminded me about it this morning before he went to school. He was upset that he'd not be allowed to go to recess today if he didn't give her the money. His friend already gave the teacher the money. He had the cash in his wallet already when the teacher asked for it so he just gave it to her.
