It's been eight years since we made any noise in the NCAA's. There is plenty of evidence to suggest that it's not getting any better despite some historically good recruiting years. For example, poor player development, inexplicable player departures, inconsistent field goal shooting, mediocre 3-point shooting, low assists, low rebounds, poor defense, embarrassing losses to inferior foes, NCAA sanctions, and no NCCA tournament wins are all indicators of a systemic decline.
