Just because a guy was great once-upon-a-time doesn't automatically mean he stays great forever. Once upon a time we used to consider Bruce Jenner to be the greatest all-around athlete in America. I'm pretty certain we're well past that now and it would be pretty stupid to keep giving Jenner a spot on the Olympic team because he was great once upon a time.

So puhhhhhhhhhhleeeeeeez....can we stop hailing what a person did more than a decade ago, but is clearly not able to maintain now, as being a reason to give someone lifetime security in their job? A job that has 10's of millions riding on it and that pays a 7 figure salary should never be granted lifetime tenure. It needs to be earned every year
