This is absolutely not true at all...
Lots of people outside of BYU are willing and always waiting for news worthy information that will reflect bad on BYU and the church.
You've got to be pretty naive to believe that only CB would care about this. Chances are, BYU won't get another Grad Transfer athlete again if this one fails to go through. It's a serious risk for some to even commit to come to BYU based on religious and moral differences... but some are willing to put those aside... that's a bigger deal than most are willing to admit. If BYU makes it even more difficult to come... there are many schools that offer the same level of education that people can get into without the baggage that BYU asks someone to carry.
