That I can agree with.
Do we even know WHY there may be issues with getting this guy admitted?
I'm super curious about what the situation is. We keep hearing that it might be tough to get him in. But why?
Some people might think why doesn't matter - just get him in no matter what. And that approach doesn't give me too much heartache, aside from the fact that most advanced degrees feel like their job is to week out those who won't make it prior to acceptance and then do absolutely everything in their power to make sure everyone who makes it in finished. So - is it a graduate degree program who doesn't think he can cut it? Does he have some weird history the honor code office has issues with? Did he walk in the spring but officially has to finish a class in the summer to get his degree and be eligible?
There could be a ton of reasons that there may be issues. I suppose BYU arrogance or pride could be one of them. But I actually see that as down the list a little bit. If that's the ONLY reason he doesn't get in, that would be sad. I don't think we should just assume that is what is happening now - though I don't discount it as a possibility.
