the fact he called them "points" instead of "runs" does not invalidate the point he was making which wasn't really about baseball itself so much as it was about some ute trying to compare utah's abysmal baseball program to BYU's which is clearly superior and always has been.

I'm a baseball guy, I grew up playing it from T-ball through HS, my uncle who is only 5 years older than I am so is more like an older brother to me, played professional baseball, I've coached my sons growing up and won multiple state championships plus coached those teams to western regional finals multiple times, both sons played HS baseball both won state championships, I spent two years as a baseball game announcer for the HS, and my younger son had multiple college baseball scholarship offers before deciding to play college football instead, I think my baseball credentials are bonafide.

The point is that the ute was wrong, clown show wrong, and got called out for it. Who gives a crap if Heinz57 called them "points"? If any of you mocking him for it have better baseball credentials than I have then let us know and go ahead and go back to mocking him. If not then clam up and go back to watching baseball on TV.
