been quite a few comparisons here between the strength of the WCC and that of the Pac12/SEC (including the linked thread in this thread.) Anyone who thinks the WCC is remotely comparable to the two conferences is way out of left field...see what I did there!

Baseball in the State of Utah will most likely never be anything great. I accepted that a long time ago. If we want to argue with Utah about who is best in state then great. But if you want to really get into who is playing the better schedule/conference year in and out we don't have a leg to stand on.

Somewhere in that other thread someone even tried to make the argument that the WCC was the 2nd best conf in the West behind the Pac12. While that may be technically true this year historically the WAC has been the 2nd best conf in the West. Many of the teams that made the WAC decent in baseball were absorbed by MWC.
