We want the Bentley, but can only afford a Hyundai Genesis.
The dream is there, but the reality is we still have some work to do get what we truly want.
We want P5, but only draw G5 athletes (for the most part). It’s been that way for the history of our program. We’re independent now but our identity is G5. We can’t change that unless it comes from the top. And I’m talking about the TOP, TOP. Like through inspiration type TOP! The church needs to decide if they want to be that P5 program. And if that’s the case, then they need to drop all HC (Head Coach) requirements, drop all HC (honor code) requirements... they need to make drastic changes to the program, the church, everything!
Would you trade what the church is about to have an Alabama, a USC, an LSU, ND type program? That’s what it comes down to. As a fan, maybe yes. But I’m not the one to make that decision.
