get players who "respect the coach" and "respect the school" and obey the honor code while they're here. Like I said above, the P5 ranks are filled with players who could come to BYU and happily live the HC and thrive at BYU. There are kids that would never come to BYU no matter who is coach, just like there are kids who would never go to USC, no matter who is coach. There are also plenty of non-religious, or non-LDS kids who would love a place like BYU. Some kids just want to focus on school and football. Not all stories end the way Crowton's did.

Say Andy Reid decided he wants more than anything to coach at BYU. Are you telling me that he couldn't recruit top talent here because of the HC? That he couldn't improve on what Kalani has done? Or convince a sure-fire NFL kid that coming to Provo, putting your head down, and focusing on school and football is the best path to fulfill your dream?
