Hahahah your last sentence almost had me on the floor. But honestly,
I have nothing more to add to this conversation. Someone broke a rule that they said the would keep, it bothers me when this happends not because I expect people to be perfect but because it pains me to see people mess up. By all accounts he is a great guy, and I hope he gets the help and support he needs, but also gets punished appropriately (by someone who is qualified to deal that punishment i.e. court and coaches).
