Paragraph #4 is LOL-level ridiculous. "Get rid of Honor Code, at least for players". Yeah, that'll happen. Aside from
effectively turning BYU from a faith-based school into a state school, having a different code of conduct for athletes and the rest of the student body is just a terrible idea.
Paragraph #6 – "players were 6 years old the last time BYU won their conference". Well yeah, it's pretty hard to win your conference when you aren't in one (and haven't been for the past 7 years). By the way, when was the last time that Utah or USU won their conference? 2008 when Utah did it?
Paragraph #7 – "I think BYU would significantly add value to the MW or AAC". No kidding. But when you are BYU and doing what's best for your program you ask the opposite question – "do the MW or AAC add significant value to BYU?" So far our admin has apparently answered that with a resounding "nope" and I agree with them.
