Of course we aren’t Notre Dame. Notre Dame could get in with one loss. But
(In this scenario) all teams except an undefeated BYU have at least two losses and we don’t get into the playoff with our schedule? It doesn’t take blue goggles to see this as a possibility. I watch the way we’re ranked (when we are) meticulously every season and that is always with some losses. No way we wouldn’t be much higher with no losses against the teams we have. Then the November schedules of other teams would put them below us. Again, we are not UCF. We don’t play nobodies. I don’t understand fans who don’t see this. I guess they’re just protecting themselves. But what’s the point of being a fan if you don’t at least hope to win the rest of your games? And right now, the rest of our games are ALL OF THEM.
