Some of us believe BYU is a G5 program...
....and are at peace with that. I don’t think the AAC championship is meaningless, in fact, based on the probable NY6 invite and level of competition, it is more meaningful than the WAC and MWC titles in the glory days. I would love to have a conference championship as a realistic yearly goal.
I personally don’t believe BYU will ever receive a P5 invite and I hate the WCC and Indy. So what’s so hard to understand? We are not UCONN winning simultaneous men’s and women’s national titles in b-ball, so what they did is not really relevant.
