My friend (D1 player) was a known Mormon on the team. The team made sure

he was "randomly" selected for the drug test every week. They knew he was one of the guys that would always pass the test.

I imagine if your son is LDS that the coaches are making sure he doesn't inadvertently take something because they need him to be clean and pass the test.
