I pulled nails out of an old board and threw them away. My grandpa was upset
that I wasted perfectly good nails. Anyone who's ever tried to hammer in a bent nail ends up with a half of it embedded in the wood.
He also wore clothes that were practically safety pinned together. When we were cleaning out his stuff after he passed we found a TON of brand new clothes with tags on them from 30 years prior.
