My dad would attend the local high school football games in the 80's. Only, he was so cheap/poor that he'd stand outside the gate and watch until the 4th quarter when they'd let you in for free. I think he paid the freight once my sister starting performing during the half time shows.

My mom will add water to a condiment container when it gets close to empty to gather all the remaining globs of condiment clinging to the sides.

Have a friend who take a popcorn container from the trash at the movies and take it back to concessions to get a "refill".
