He also used an old wood ladder on the stairs one time. It broke, he fell, and he broke his back. If I remember correctly, my uncle threw the old broken ladder away and my grandpa got mad when he found out.

You can also find all kinds of cool stuff in his garage. He'll have old Cool Whip containers fulling of bailing wire in a random nook/cranny in his garage. Half the stuff might be from the 60s. But he knows right where everything is.
