I'm just trying to make Luke's case for him. If the evidence is, "the DNA
indicates Leia's sibling committed the crime", Luke could just say it wasn't him, it was another unknown sibling or relative. Unless they have his actual DNA to compare to the perpetrator of the crime, it is suggestive but not conclusive on it's own.

But I'm no attorney so maybe that isn't how it works.
