Emery isn't very good anymore. He may have gotten back to form, but I don't

think that happens very often at the D1 level in bball. He had to take time off and was emotionally beat up pretty deeply. He clearly lost a step and his shooting last season. It was a long shot to believe he'd be an important piece of the team. It's sad.
