I'm just pointing out the reason why BYU-Idaho is viewed as second class.
Sure, students and faculty take pride in the academics portion.

But, people want to know why there are constant cries to expand BYU (when we already have BYU-I), and why we have BYU-Idaho students lying about where they attended school. Easy. There is NO real "School Pride" for BYU-Idaho, because it lacks any sort of identity. Alums have no reason to engage with the school. The school doesn't even have a mascot. Not even any T-Shirt fans in the community. And yes, SPORTS is the vehicle for a lot of that.
