Someone please explain to me why U of U hospital is in network for my insurance, but
the specialist my kid saw there is not. I’ve hit my max out of pocket and Aetna covered the hospital’s part, but not the $300 for a doc to look at my kid’s burnt hand. He literally spent less than 5 minutes total with us. Joke from start to finish.
How can they purport to be in network then provide an out of network doc? Reason number 5,382 for why I, an unabashed capitalist, am for comprehensive healthcare reform. If it means single payer, so be it.
