See Utah, TCU, Louisville, Rutgers etc. Being in a conference in no way hurts a
programs chances for being invited to a P5 conference.
Any fan who believes that BYU is P5 right now, or even close to it is insane.
Byu has the worst post season access of ANY program in college football. No access to NY6 games. Terrible bowl selections. Money that is barely better than teams in the AAC. No conference championship access. Worse recruiting than when BYU is the MWC. And we didnt even touch on basketball in the black hole that is the WCC. I understand fans liking Independance, but dont for one second confuse that with being P5. Its not. Neither is G5, but there are clear advantages to being in a conference, advantages that helped BYU for years and years.

there is no good argument for us moving to the MWC before conference realignment. There might be some arguments for it
