I don't even know what that means - "football wise"?
Is that regarding recruiting? Donations? Contracts? Attendance? How does football get "better" in the MWC? By trying to replicate Boise?
Many more people, pundits, fans and otherwise recall the random key wins against CFB national brands on national television than how many MWC championships BYU or Boise State has ever won, who was 2nd team all-MWC, etc.
The argument of "needing to play for something" and references a MWC title or individual accolades is like saying a great BYU accounting student, after studying and preparing all of his life, wants to go be a collections clerk for the local tow truck company. You can be employee of the month! You can really stand out! Who gives a flying flip when it is only the lunch lady and her broken down jalopie there looking at your MWC trophy?

there is no good argument for us moving to the MWC before conference realignment. There might be some arguments for it
