I think BYU could sell kids on NFL.
My co worker grew up in Ft. Worth, TX. Many of his friends went on to play at all the big time schools, then NFL, and CFL.
He said some of the ones that were the best and should’ve (in his mind they were the best players) gone to NFL got distracted during Freshman/Sophomore year. While they were waiting for the kid in front of them to get Drafted, or Graduate. He says our honor code would have helped some of those kids keep focused.
He has a nephew starting football and he says he will push him to go to a school like BYU. How can BYU sell this to kids who get distracted by the big lights and tradition of other programs?
