When I went to school in the 90s, you would never see any Ute gear south of 49th street.

I went to fashion place mall recently and there were folks wearing Utah paraphernalia everywhere I looked.

Interest in Utah football is exponentially higher than it was pre-Olympics or pre-Urban. Off the charts.

I personally get annoyed by it because the front runners are the ones who complain when Utah "only" wins 9 games in a conference where at least half the programs have more money, more prestige and better recruiting advantages.
That's why I don't care if I'm the only fan. Most Utah and BYU fans don't really understand how IMPOSSIBLE it is for these local teams to dress up teams that can be on the same field as the blue bloods.

What you are discussing is the practicality of actually going to the game vs. watching it at home on ABC with your family near the Holidays and a day when you can also follow the ending of the Bama game and OU-OKSU at the same time.

If the game was blacked out on TV, it would've been SRO, IMO.
