For about the last decade, ever since Utah joined the pac12, they’ve reported sell out after sell out and st adding room only at all of their football games, and I think that has mostly been true up until this season. But for some reason this season that has not been the case and I’m wondering why?

And it is especially interesting based on the fact they are having their best season ever in the pac12 and also just announced a stadium expansion of several thousand seats.

I guaranty that the people in the athletic dept at Utah are asking the same question based on the situation as I’ve just described it. It doesn’t seem to make any sense.

Let me ask you this, if BYU was currently 11-1 and very much in the running for a playoff berth do you think their attendance would have dropped this year? I am quite sure it wouldn’t and that just makes what’s happened at Utah this year all the more interesting. If they are losing attendance during their best year ever then what is to be expected in future years because years like this site aren’t going to be the norm.
